Jungle BBQ and Steamboat Restaurant, Alor Setar, Kedah

Hello all,

It has been time since my last post. 

Have lots to post really but just don't have the time :( 

Anyway This time is Jungle BBQ and Steamboat Restaurant at Alor Setar Kedah.

This restaurant is just few steps away from Mcdonald Alor Setar, so you wont be able to miss it if you are driving.

This restaurant serve not only normal steamboat.

But BBQ food item as well.

But the bbq selection is quite limited.

Like sausage, scallop, fish, sotong, and otak otak. 

I visited this restaurant early this year together with my friend.

The most memorable about this restaurant = MOSQUITO!!!!

So make sure you sit at somewhere with a fan blowing under your leg (They really have few there)

*Not exactly blowing towards the leg but near la*

The food choice was great for steamboat with many variety of "Balls" to choose from.

Other than that, they have small crabs and mantis prawns as well.

During weekends, don't surprise to see UUM students come all the way to have a gathering or celebration.

On the left is the BBQ counter Center is all the "Balls" and vegetables.

Selections of Protein, Carbohydrates and Vegetables.

For this restaurant, you do not need to cook your bbq food yourself.

Just pick your favourite and pass to the chef, they will do it all and send to your table.

But, you miss the fun of cooking right? 

Pros and Cons.

Ice- Cream!!!

Always refill when it is over, so you wont need to afraid that you go home without this in your stomach. 

Herbal and Tomyam Soup.

Another goods for this restaurant as they serve Dual Soup Base.

Foooooooood~~~~~

This is another Good!!!

They serve Scallop!!!

Quite Fresh though.

All is in our tummy!!!!

To summarise:

The Price:

Cheap RM 28/pax

The Service:

Not bad. Quite attentive.

The Good:

Wide selection of "Balls"

Always available Ice Cream

Big and open space.

Easy to find

Duol Soup Base!

Scallop!!!

The Bad:

Mosquito!!!

Limited Choice for BBQ Section.

Unable to cook yourself.

As a conclusion, it is actually a nice place to go if you are looking for a weekend dinner with family and friends.
